Amberley Labels’ innovative Infinity™ print technology has been recognised with a Gold award at the prestigious EFIA Print Awards 2021. Taking Gold in the ‘Best use of a complementary process with flexo’ category, Amberley developed Sashay Peacock Gin labels to showcase its Infinity™ technology.
Delivering almost limitless bespoke print and personalisation opportunities, Infinity™ combines state-of-the-art print technology with proprietary algorithms to generate true one-of-a-kind, unlimited variables.
Andy Wilson, Colour Director for Coveris’ Graphics, Labels & Board Business Unit commented, “Amberley’s Infinity™ technology is a significant development for dynamic, data driven personalisation, creating exciting opportunities for print of the future. We are very pleased Amberley’s innovation in print, combining extensive investment in new print capabilities with forward-thinking expertise, has been recognised in this year’s EFIA Awards with a Gold award.”
Demonstrating expertise in hybrid printing, Amberley also received a Bronze award in the same category for their range of labels for craft brewery Weird Beard. Distinctive and impactful, Amberley used digital prototyping to explore decorative finishing for Weird Beard’s labels. Combining a silver substrate, creative design and tactile varnish, the Weird Beard range of labels are both eye-catching and textured.
The EFIA Print Awards Gala Dinner, celebrating quality, innovation, sustainability and technical development, took place on Thursday 4th November at the iconic National Railway Museum in York.
