Amberley Labels has been announced as the proud winner of Digital Printer Award 2021. The ‘Digitally Printed Labels and Packaging’ Award was presented for Amberley’s labels for artisan brand 6 O’Clock Gin. Digitally printed, the labels were developed for the launch of 6 O’Clock’s Romy’s Edition Mango, Ginger & Lime line, a collaboration with celebrated chef Romy Gill MBE.
Intricate and eye catching, the label design and print perfectly captures the inspiration behind the creation of the gin. A Pure Cotton material delivers a premium, tactile finish and the use of reverse print on the back label achieves consumer impact and appeal, with the design magnified through the glass bottle. Amberley initially produced 3,000 limited edition labels using HP Indigo digital technology.
David Richards, Managing Director Amberley Labels (Blandford) said, “Winning a Digital Printer Award is a fantastic achievement and I’m really proud of the Amberley team, always striving for excellence and innovation. 6 O’Clock Gin is an amazing brand to work with and I’m delighted our award recognises the high quality of print achieved digitally and the finish of this double-sided textured substrate, something the judges specifically commented on.”
The prestigious Digital Printer Awards, celebrating excellence, innovation and sustainability in digital print, took place on 4th November 2021 in London.
Amberley Labels has also been announced as a Gold Award winner at the EFIA Print Awards in the ‘Best use of a complementary process with flexo’ catgeory. Developed to showcase Amberley’s innovative Infinity™ technology, the Sashay Peacock Gin labels highlight the opportunities for almost limitless bespoke print.
